I learned how to repurpose old parts and make something cool with them. I practiced my soldering and wiring skills. I turned an old skateboard into an electric one.

Gathering the Stuff

The idea was set, now I needed the stuff. Here's what I needed:

Old Skateboard
Motor
Motor Controller
Battery
BMS
Wires etc.

Completed Board

After many hours of testing and wiring here's the (semi) finished board. I told myself I'd 3D print an enclosure for the motor controller... but this was before I had a 3D printer. I gave the board to my friend who likes to shred! He managed to get a top speed of around 25km/hr.

I also broke my nose...
